The Raíces Festival will begin with a colorful and emotional Flag Parade, where flags from across Latin America and beyond will wave proudly, honoring the many cultures that enrich our community. This vibrant display of unity will set the tone for a day filled with music, art, and celebration.
Following the parade, Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets will take the stage to deliver a heartfelt welcome, officially opening the festival and inviting everyone to join in a weekend of cultural pride, connection, and joy.
The Opening Ceremony is more than the start of the festival. It is a moment to come together as one community and celebrate the diversity that makes Frankfort so special.
