Mariachi Sol de América, based in Indianapolis, was formed on December 12, 2023, with a heartfelt mission: to bring the beauty and richness of Mexican culture to every home and every place where their community invites them.
The group is made up of six talented musicians—three from Mexico and three from Nicaragua, a country that holds deep admiration for Mexican traditions. Together, they create a powerful blend of passion, respect, and musical talent that celebrates the spirit of mariachi.
Their repertoire includes classics from iconic ranchero artists, along with cumbias, zapateados, and other lively styles that invite audiences to sing, dance, and feel connected to their roots. Through their music, Mariachi Sol de América seeks to keep alive the cultural heritage passed down by their ancestors and share it with future generations.
